“the man who has one watch – always knows what time it is, the man with two watches – is never quite sure”
i’m always the one getting picked on in the group – i’m just about fed up, time for a slight break.
driving home this morning, i was wondering about all of the people in the world – everyone has their problems and worries – many times these are masked behind other faux emotions – we frequently want to be big and figure our issues out on our own – sometimes that’s all it takes, other times – we reach out to people, hoping their input on a particular situation will better it, sometimes it does.
i won’t ever forget a line from one of the most real ‘true love’ interviews i’ve ever seen – danny & annie
“when a guy is happily married, no matter what happens at work – no matter what happens for the rest of the day, theres a shelter when you get home, there’s a knowledge, knowing that you can hug somebody without them throwing you down the stairs and saying get your hands off me
& being married is like having a colored television set – you never want to go back to black and white.”
that’s what i want, i’ll get it.
